Debate Team

The Stallion Debate team embarked on their inaugural year led by Mr. Reich. They have participated in many competitions and scrimmages during the 2022-2023 school year which have led to them receiving high praise for their calm and collected poise and adaptability in the moment. This year members of this team were also selected to present a live debate in front of a full audience; an honor as only 2 out of 100 teams participating were selected. We are proud of our 5th grade Stallions and can't wait to continue building student voice and reasoning for years to come!

Chess Club

Congratulations to the Lakewood Chess Club for their amazing job at the Sudie Chess Tournament.  We won 1st place individuals and teams in both categories K-3 and 4-5.

Robotics Team

Congratulations to the Lakewood Robotics team for advancing to the finals and placing 1st in core values! Way to go Coach Strifler for receiving the coach/mentor award!

Spelling Bee

Congratulations to our Lakewood spelling bee champions Callan Odegaard and Ben Fenlaw! They will be competing at the district level next semester. We wish you good luck!
