We are a top-performing, A-rated campus. In fact, Lakewood Elementary was ranked 27th in the Top 100 Elementary Schools in Texas in the 2021 U.S. News & World Report. Our highly committed and invested teachers push student learning beyond basic knowledge, as well as, differentiate content and skills based on student needs.

Kindergarten teacher, Ms. Johnson, was honored for a milestone 35 years of service with DISD during a Salute to Service: Lifetime Achievement Ceremony this year!
